GM files bankruptcy?

I really don't believe that GM themselves will file chapter 13. There's a good write up on it here. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=syndmedia_news&sid=ae.htNGLuXFc&refer=syndmedia%0A%09%09

All, and I mean ALL car companies have slipped in sales. Ford has taken a bigger hit than anybody. Toyota has taken less of a hit than all the rest and is projected to surpass GM as being the Global leader in about the year 2007. But even they still have taken a hit in sales.

actually i believe GM has taken the biggest hit. thus the selling of there stock in Subaru. why do you think that they have been draging the employee discount on all summer long..... nobody has been buying GM cars/trucks -
I dunno, the Cobalt SS and GTO wouldn't be all bad.

GM would probably be somewhere better if they did not keep on this new thing with the overpriced ssr and ugly hhr
Their quality has risen within the last few years coming close to that of Japanese and European auto manufacturers. -

I think the only reason they are selling chryslers is because mercedes got on board? They redesigned their best selling cars into more expensive models and sales went down the pooper. Take a look at the grand am and grand prix. How many new c6's or whatever they are do you see running around? I have noticed one and that is only because my cousin drives it. I think it would be funny if GMC Chevrolet Cadillac Pontiac Dodge Jeep ect all left the fargo moorhead area leaving luther to inherit another monopoly.

Yes, the current GTO is based on the Holden Monaro (sp?) from Australia. GTO probably does have some flex in the chassis (schulzy, if you're reading this...DRINK), but nothing that can't be fixed in the aftermarket, they have successfully campaigned GTO's as drift cars you realize?
