an audio shop doing chrome plating? hmmm..........i might have to go check that out. where exactly are they located on main?

Was it DHD speakers/amps? In the long run your friend will be better off going somewhere else if that is the case. DHD Subs (10") are $17 a piece dealer cost. Trust me, no sub that costs less than $17 to make is worth putting in your car. I stopped by there shop, and while the people seemed nice enough that run the place, they need a little reality check on what constitute performance audio. Power Acoustic/DHD are not going to get you customers in the door....at least not happy ones for the long haul unless they know almost nothing about car audio and are tone deaf. I had to explain what a fricken audio switcher board was when I was in there. I didn't want to say anything to them there (there were other people in the store) about their product lineup and I hope it improves, but they have a LONG ways to go to catch up to the other shops in town. Remember the best price isn't always the best deal.

FWIW, I have no idea how good their installers are, they may be great and their chrome plate guy may be awesome too, I can't say for sure.

well just have to wait and check out what they do once someone goes there. he wanted us to come and check out a vette they had just done but we were not able to go. the subs were i think pipeline and the dvd was boss

Chrome it had them try to do a rim of mine they couldn't they also plated my gold trim on the rims and had 3 that have finger prints on them...

I had to buy a new rim it's possible that it just couldn't be rechromed by anyone but finger prints in the gold and they did say they could do the rim and kept promissing it and promissing it and it never did get done on time... tis why at toppers i had taken an automotive artwork off my wall to cover up the one missing chrome/gold rim
