Welcome to the site. The rotary engine does have good power for its size. But if it's not turbocharged, you'll run into a performance wall really easily. There's only so much that you can feasibly do to a N/A rotary before it becomes un-streetable. They are alot of fun to drive though. Enjoy your ride and welcome to the darkside.

hey man n/a rx7 are a little slow and are not always the best on gas milage but Its great to see another rx7 on here. If you need a clutch alignment tool i got one i just installed an act clutch this past summer. If you wanna talk rotaries pm me and i'll give you my cell or if you need someone to hold a wrench, haha. Welcome to fargostreet.
