i would just pay the ticket and not waist the time to go to court. i've been through this many time and it's really not worth fighting it. my .02

i understand the cops word against mine, i told the story to 3 cops so far and they said take it because i came around a curve and he said he could see me for a few blocks, he was behind a tree, in an ally, and he pulled me over a block away from the curve. all the cops say to take it to court because its free, and i have a chance due to where the cop was.

In that case take pictures of where the cop was sitting. Take pictures from inside your car sitting approximately where the cop was parked. Basically take pictures of everything you explained to us. Then take some pictures of some hot chicks and post them on here for us pervs to drool over.

Pleading not guilty takes it to trial and if you step into trialw/o a lawyer your going to lose andpaid hundreds in court and administrative fee's alone.

I plead not guilty a while back in court for a traffic offense (not in Fargo, that might be why) and it didn't go to trial, they just brought in the cop and we both told our side of the story. No additional court fees either even though I lost.

Take this one from me man, Fargo and West Fargo cops love to pull me over so I know my way around the system a little bit. Take it to court, the cop cannot give you a ticket without providing information to back this up, there are exemptions to this though, ex. exhibition driving, careless driving, reckless, etc. If you ask an officer to see your speed he by law has to show you.
The West Fargo cops found a way around this though and nailed me man. Im on my rocket the other day and I just hit it to the speed limit, my front tire didn't lift, my back tire didn't spin, I just accelerated to the speed limit which was about half throttle. He nailed me for exhibition driving because he didn't get me on radar but he was pretty sure I was speeding. I have even had a Fargo Police Officer lie on the stand under oath (I swear to god man) he said the exact opposite of what actually happened. So take it to court but don't be suprised if the Fargo PD pulls some bullsh** lame excuse like they are known for. Now you know why cops are called "PIGS"
