I always thought people waiting in line and setting up tents were crazy. I would for sure do it myself if i knew i could make $10,000 doing it or even half that. This will probaly make the forum.

Everyone knows that the price goes down after a awhile...in this case after XMAS.....i just cant understand even considering spending more then sticker price ...how does having it a little while before everyone else even translate into actual dollars over the retail price?? i guess mybe i just dont get it but for real....how?

I just saw one go for $12.9K on ebay the other day. I wonder if it is just a joke like highschoolers did earlier this year. Put it up on ebay and then have all there buddies bid on it just to get an outrageous price so they can get a laugh out of it.

A guy I know on another forum sold a basic one for like $1500 and got paid for it. The fee was like $35, and hes got 1 more basic and one more premium to sell.
If it is someone playing a joke, thats one hell of a fee. But a lot of bidders on these 10K+ auctions are fake, people who sign up just to bid. One guy even won a auction with the name "fakeXbox360bidder".

I heard on TV that one ended around $24k. What is the big rush? My regular xbox gets the job done for me. I cant see how people have the time to play it to make it worth that much.

i guess just a couple hours after they started selling, quite a few sold for 4 to 5k. they said that they wont get delivered til maybe after christmas though. kind of a waste if you ask me.. since after the christmas rush itll be a lot easier to get one.

I looked on ebay on around 2:30 pm the day they started to sell them and the highest actual bid i saw was $3,100 for one with 6 games, but there was a tit load of them being sold for around $1,000.

I heard they already have overheating problems also. Microsoft just had to get there product out first before working all the bugs out. I sure sign that they fear the PS3.
Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if they even start popping up the pawn shops shortly after christmas.
