oh? only accessed aim once on my E815.... didn't pay any attention to what it did on trillian (I was in MPLS at the time anyway)...

i havent tried the new aim.. but if you like the tabbed windows, etc.. check out a program called aimutation. just a simple addon that gives you all sorts of new features.

works best with v5.2 though.

DeadAIM > Aimutation

Just dl the old version of deadaim off oldversion.com and you'll be set. Tabbed windows, talk while away (can do that in the newer version now though) and other stuff too.

I've noticed that if you get a little bit of text in your "history" when somebody IM's you, the program seems to lag out after you send a message...

I used DeadAIM in combination with an older version of AIM. I've been enjoying tabbed IM windows for quite some time now, along with logging, and all sorts of other goodies.

I like loggin the history of msg's on MSN that's kinda neat... has been useful

i still prefer aimutation over any other addon. i used to use nothing but deadaim.. but every once in a while it would uninstall itself. when it actually did work, i got sick of my away message always popping up in a convo window when someone sent me an IM. plus aimutation just has more features. but hey.. whatever floats yer boat.
