that was there when I had the car too. It doesn't work. At least, I couldn't get it to work anyway. Got an idea though..........prove me wrong. HAHA

I would love to make it work, but do not know the first thing about the ghetto spark plug flame thrower actually work, if anyone has any Idea how to do it, let me know.

Actually, it probably wont work for you Joel because you have no way to richen the exhaust up on the car. Back i my muscle car days, we'd put a spark plug in the exhaust pipe, richen the carburetor, and voila. But in a F.I. vehicle it's a little harder to accomplish (unless you own a rotary). The vehicle runs too lean to get enough raw fuel in the exhaust to make it ignite just on a spark plug alone. I have seen it happen on a newer vehicle, just not without adding a crappy fuel injector to the mix. I wouldn't reccomend that especially with the spark plug BEFORE the muffler. Whoever hooked that up must not have done their homework and is probably why it's not hooked up.

my bet is that someone had too plug a o2 sensor, and Didn't Have a Bung.......it's the old school way i guess, i went looking for a bung, and all the local Carquests...etc. told me too throw in a spark plug and break off the porceline.........old people.

I've never seen an O2 sensor soo close to a muffler in all my years of messing with cars. And never at the rear of the car to boot. I would guess that it was installed there for the very purpose of shooting flames.

Go to a muslce car forum or street rod forum. They should be able to help you out. My grandpa sells flame thrower kits but he has never had me hook one up on a FI car before.
