As we all know....there will be a 3rd "fast and furious" movie or whatever. However, there is some controversy floating around, concerning one of the cars that will be in the movie. The only domestic vehicle will be a fastback Mustang.

The kicker is what is under the hood.....a Nissan Skyline inline 6 turbo motor

I aquired these pictures from this thread:

I'm going to call bullshit on this one. If you watch this video (some kid found out where they were shooting some scenes and decided to make his own video). You can clearly HEAR that there is definately NOT a skyline engine under that hood.

I'm sorry, but I can't watch the video as of now, I will just say I would be surprised, this has been up on several messageboards, some people "in the know" even outlined the "plot" of the movie, where it's something about drifting or some such thing, this person blows the v8 engine in this Mustang, and to finish competing in whatever you compete for when sliding your car around, swaps in this Nissan engine or whatever. I myself have no firsthand knowledge whether this is 100% verified or not, but if you are right, it would seem that a lot of people would be caught by surprise.

Kinda suprised to see a domestic in F&F3, since the setting is in Japan...

uhhh, stormwalker, you can do a simple search in google (or even here on fargostreet) and the whole plot is outlined already.I guess I have not taken any time to do any research on fast and furious movies. Hard to find the motivation to do that.

The guy who took them pics must be photoshop genius if it's fake.
The F&F guys will do anything to sell a movie and putting a skyline motor in a mustang isn't beyond them. I guess we'll see when the movie comes out.
