Alright. I am confused. I have driven a couple of those and they really were not fast. One guy I know that has one lined it up against my VR6 and I slaughtered him. I know those things are all wheel drive, is that why? I'm not trying to rip on anyone or anything here, but I evidently am missing something. Educate me please.
I'm somewhat familiar with the Conquest/Starion if that is any help.
The reason I asked about the 97 specifically is because I do have a bit of seat time in that car. It was the 2.0L turbo awd 5-speed, and it was the tsi or whatever. It was not too worked over though, it only had 20k miles on it. I did like it! It was a nice, nimble car to drive, pleasant for spirited driving. But it really was not fast. I'm trying to get the owner to bring it out to some track events, at least autocross.
EDIT: might not reply until Monday, but I'll check back then! Thanks.
