I didnt disrespect anyone on here, that statement was directed to stischucky NOT kevin, I have the up most respect for kevins work always have and kevin if your reading this you know who i am and know i have never talked down on you and never had a problem with your work. You have very good work i have never said different. Yes i have compared both of their work and they are both really good, but you have to look at it in a buisness perspective, would you want to go to a guy that has been in town for 5-6 years(not relating to kevin) to work on your car? or to someone that has been doing it for 20-30 years? Thats my take on it. But as we all know when someone states an opinion he is always rong on here,i stated what my opinion was, it was not disrespect. Someone was talking down on my closes friends buisness and i dont appreciate it would you? Let me clear it up one more time, i appreciate kevins work i like kevins work, i have seen kevins work. Connie and Kevin are the best in town, they are the UNTOUCHABLES. So is that such a bad opinion now?
    lol.

but atleast you avoided kevins questions

So are all these aforementioned shops paint/body/interior? Or just fine comb detailing? I'm sorta confused.

Oh, and Freitag, you need to come back up here to Grand Forks and dick around like last time, once the 240 gets done. Maybe the next time there won't be ice all over the fucking road.

I think Don's car wash is probably the best place to get your car cleaned in town!

There are new way's of Buffing/Polishing/Micro-polishing..New ways of shampoo'n/Steam cleaning.. I know everything and anything there is to know about Auto recon..

I Have seen many other places work and know what they charge.. and for some place's thats why they went out of business (harolds)

Please tell me what harolds, hutton, proficient, Corwins, Ad&A Charge for something comparable to a 3-Step heavy cut , Polish swirls, and micro polish holograms, Sealant, Wax..
I think harolds called it a MING?? and that cost 200+

Kevin, Connie charges about 100-175 for a 3 stage buff(not quite sure so dont quote me) and a "MING" is a joke, i told you that myself. She also offers a new product that she ordered from i believe chicago, which is a "paint sealent" and i think its the same pricing not quite sure though. Also she has done older vehicles than 1995.

so, compare and contrast. you dont gotta be so ignorant just because connies been doin it for 26 years or whatever. it's not the hardest skill occupation wise so stop actin like its some sorta challenge or whatever.

Unless you didn't see the pics that Kevin posted, you forgot about mine (http://www.fargostreet.com/showthread.php?t=5014) and those who dont know mine is the blue one. I will NEVER take my car elsewhere. NEVER. He did such an excellent job, Id like to see someone compare to his....especially the price. I felt that I cheated him out after he did my car. And as for the Lexus IS, that is gonna shine like hell better than mine turned out afterwords.....WOW, Im excited to see it and I really wanna bring mine in later this summer. Kevin, I got your back.

I wouldnt take any of my cars anywhere else either. He did my car last summer and made a 15 year old single stage black paint job look ten feet deep. Im real happy with the job done on my truck today too, ten years old and it looks brand new again. I dont think anyone can touch the quality of work sld does.

Let me give my .02 since I've worked at Harolds before and after Connie left. Harolds was good when Connie worked for Steve. We had plenty of work and happy customers. When Connie left hell broke loose. She's the one that kept that business running. I worked there for about 7 more months after . Steve got a new shop, got a gay car wash, switched up how everything was done and basically didn't now what the f*ck he was doing. That didn't last long. We had slim to no customers and I basically quit coming in. So that was it for Harolds.

About Connie, she does know what she's doing. She just does things different. but she gets the job done right. She was picky as hell, I know. She never really got too crazy on buffing which I hear she is doing now. She also is a very good business women.

About SLD which is where I work now. We also do an exellent job. Kevins 3 stage buff is superior and he also nows what he's doing and is very picky too. I'd say we do some things differently but we get the job done.

So I guess what I meant to say is this. Every shop has their own way of doing things. It's doesn't matter how they do it as long as the customer is happy. That's what people go in to business to do. CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG???????????!!!!!!!!
