What's happening now isn't much different that what's been on here before. In fact, it's alot more calm than in previous dramatic times on FS. That may be due to the maturity level of the people that are being harassed in the recent forums and them not giving in to the temptaion to respond to the posts and letting it blow out of proportion. It has been pretty tame IMHO.

to stop the drama is not what i was gettin at. i was just thinking along the lines of seeing who is comin onto the site, where they are from, what they drive, etc......
and if they dont feel the need to let that be known about them, ban em. maybe next time they will tell a lil more about themselves -
The problem with making it members only, is then we loose nearly all of the search engine hits / links from other pages.
That accounts for alot of the guests you see everyday. If somebody wants to participate in a site, they will, its just hard to force them too....

Exactly. I think the site is better now than say.... 1 year ago.

Really, what does the intro requirement actually do? The people who want to just lurk are going to just post something like "Just posting because I have to." If someone is actually into cars, 9 times out of 10 they will post an intro with what they drive, mods, plans, etc. -

Yes it is! Speaking of there are alot of people on this site all the time, it is such a change from when I first joined. Back in the day I would be the only one on the site most of the time. -

When Scavenger hunt came to mind, I was thinking of finding certain things online, like certain pictures, or.. whatever, it was a dumb thought, but maybe hopefully to bring up a few ideas..
