Any home audio experts.

I know NOTHING about home audio, so I was hoping someone could help me out with my dilemma.
I've got 3 devices with component outputs:
cable DVR
Xbox
Progscan DVD playerMy TV only has 2 sets of component inputs. I'm assuming I need a box of some sort. Is there anyone around town who would have something like that for a reasonable price? I did look at best buy and they have some big fancy media center thingy with a bunch of stuff I don't need for really expensive moneys, so not that.
My other problem is that I've got 2 devices with dolby digital output (xbox, cable DVR) but my progscan dvd player/dolby receiver only has one digital input. So what do I do there?

check radio shack, I know they have a video switcher that is nice and reasonable. I dunno about the digital outputs though, never checked if they were supported.
I personaly use a surround sound recieved to plug everything into, gives me 8 sets of video imputs.

yeah radio shack is your best bet, they ussually have something that will work for ya, wether it be a switch or a splitter. if you want to go cheap you can prolly put something together with the right parts from there. won't be pretty that way, but it should work. If you are really lost just go in and tell them what you want to do and they'll show you your options.
best of luck to ya!

walmart has a swticher for like ten bucks.. but it isnt exactly the thing to use if youare trying to salvage any sort of quality sound or otherwise

sounds like you need one of these:

if you're going to spend 150 bucks on that switcher, you might as well just spend like 500 on a new receiver that has everything you need... 3 sets of component video and 3 digital audio ins.
Or, just use your xbox as your dvd player and get rid of the dvd player.

who said I'd charge him $150 for that switcher?
I can definately beat the MSRP on that by at least $50. -
just buy a surround sound reciever....it'll give you better quality and it has tons of inputs.
