I find it hard to believe the WRX is on that list. Full coverage on it when it was new was less than full coverage on my former 88 Prelude Si (I didn't have full coverage on the prelude, just checked the cost). I was told by 2 insurance agents that WRX's tend to be among the safer cars on the road as well and relatively inexpensive to fix. I'm not disputing what you found in that report, just countering w/ my own experience.
with street racers like you runnin around, i can see why we're on that list.

I pay $55 for full coverage and renter's insurance every month. God am I glad I switched residency from MN to ND...That alone cut my car insurance almost in half 🙂

they aren't that bad to fix (body/cosmetic) OEM bumpers can be had for ~$150 each, fenders aren't too bad either. The hood is kind of expensive, but still not ridiculous....all prices listed above are w/o paint.

22, semi clean record (1 speeding and 1 accident claim that both didn't really effect my insurance). Been insured with state farm for 8 years about, and only paying $564 for 6 months ($94/month) including rental car insurance on the RSX.
