I have mostly ignored comments like this but your generalising this and that's just false... Chrysler is doing fine ford is hurting gm is in the shit bag and HONDA an import company you clam is doing good is actually loosing market share... toyota is doing great but it's the cheap ass korean (dauwo or how ever you spell it & 1 other can't think of the name right now) companyies that are (besides toyota) gaining market share...

Chrysler is now owner/operated by Daimler Benz, perhaps you have heard of the Mercedes Benz...yeah, same company. That and they aren't afraid of aggressive styling. Their vehicles look like they're pissed off...image is everything.
Ford isn't making anything that is really attractive/easily tunable (in comparison) for the younger crowd, unless you include Mazda in which case you have the MX5, RX8, and Mazdaspeed 6. All of which are priced just out of entry level car for a lot of young adults.
GM's offering is the Cobalt, while I don't argue that it is capable of some pretty decent HP numbers, its still a glorified Cavalier.
Honda is losing some market share, but anytime you add another player to the market that will happen. They still make some of the most reliable cars on the road period.
Toyota will be king for quite some time, they tend to offer something for everyone and have been doing a great job of promoting their Scion brand of vehicles...sporty looking cars that are priced for the first time new car buyer in mind and have a ton of aftermarket support. Oh and reliable.
Daewoo=now owned by GM, rumor has it GM has regretted this purchase since even before it was announced publicly.
Kia/Hyundai= Decent cars with GREAT warranty.
Nissan=putting the hurt on the full size truck market (1/2 ton class) and doing ok in the tuner markets with the 350z, Spec V, even the Maxima has more aftermarket support than a lot of cars.
Mitsubishi/Subaru=going primarily after the niche markets of AWD Turbo cars, though not necessarily competing against each other. Fairly consistently you see the Evo's making HUGE HP and tearing up the 1/4 mile whereas you see WRX/STi making moderate power eating up the competition in the Rallycross/autocross comps. Yes there are exceptions to the above rules, I was making a generalization...live with it.

I didn't want to read everything so i'll give you a rundown of the cars posted:
Blueish RX8 is the kid formerly known for his BLACK CELICA with the gay wing on it. He stabbed his mom in the forehead last summer supposedly and now owns the RX8 after crashing/selling his celica i believe. His name is Cody Finley
Blue WRX is a friend of mine, his names Austin Ash. He's not trying to be ricey about his car, he knows what he can and can't beat. He's more into looks than anything. I believe the only thing hes done to it is turbo exhaust and the CF hood, it came with the STI wing. He was the one who crashed it on interstate and had it fixed. He's cool
Black civic with turbo is Brandon Hjermstead. He will probably be fairly quick now, i dont know for sure but i heard someone telling me he plans on running 25psi soon....not sure though. He's cool though, works at valley ford.
350Z is my friend Mark Iverson. It's stock basically, he's cool and will race you if you try to probably.
Red Mustang w/ red seats is alex pearson. He doesnt think his car is fast (its a v6 mustang) its just the car he got. Came like that.
I dont know who drives the flame WRX wagon but they're probably gay.

If you want to find the people who think they have fast cars drive by the very far back. Anyone who thinks their car shoudl be protected from door dings or some shit parks in back because they think they're immune from them back there. Ill look for other cars that should be mentioned when i get to school this monday as well.

I told him about my car the day after i was sure I was getting it and he's like "yeah whatever you say, man". I try to convince myself not to make fun of the things he says he's gonna do to his car, and then he pretty much says that I couldn't ever afford one of those... His LS is also able to beat both me and hjermstads cars because he has .2 more liters of displacement then us!
