Im not possitive on whether or not the wire and gas in the welder can decently weld aluminum. but should be able to tack and then bring it to a welder to get welded the rest off the way, im considering just tac welding the pieces and bring them to get welded. im going to try a couple welds on some spare stainless and see how they turn out

Don't forget, it also depends on what aluminum alloy the piping is made out of.

Pretty sure only 50 and 60 series aluminum alloys are weldable.

on snow tires i have no expectations, but i added an lsd. and im running on a 9psi spring. 240's arent really the best drag cars. i ran a 16.0 or something like that at 86 last while i was NA, and had absolutely no traction

ya i got bored last weekend while i had it all apart. and blasted the front cover and valve cover and repainted then, the fron cover looke horrible and the vavle cover had taken lots off abuse. now i need to get it running right and fix my brake resivior(whoops) and heat wrap stuff.

Looks pretty good. Are you going to try drifting it? (I hope not) It seems too nice to be drifting.

When did the boost come on with that turbo?

well i havent gotten it running really good yet but boost comes like no other ill have to have someone ride with me to watch the numbers but i almost wish i went bigger for more "street able driving" so i could accelerate with out having to hit boost.

but people on stock bore and 8.5:1 compression have confirmed 18psi before 3500 rpms, and im bored .40 over and got 9.0:1 compression.

im not making a drift car or else i would never have put the work i have into the car, painting enginebay motor ect. i want a good all around car that i can auto-x and drag race and actually do decent in both

Yeah, Bigger might have been better if you wanted no-boost driving, especially with that high of compression. Oh well, that can be done later, too!
