It depends.
It might rattle less if you go with the back bench bc there is more area around the sub to displace the sound. But thats just my guesse -
trunk area is optimal for sound (usually) as it allows for more wave travel to optimize the sound.

If you are asking me, obviously I will always recommend myself to do the install. Any reputable stereo shop will be able to do such an install however.
