Presidential Election

how about tjamz in 2012?
You WILL be seeing me on a local ballot within 4 years though...guaranteed.
-
Probably school board within 2 years and then alderman within 4-6 years.
-
Then a state level (In Bismarck in other words) senate/house seat within 12 years. Governor within 8 years of that and President by the time I'm 55. That is my goal.

Here's an idea.. (Btw, I don't support either, no plan to vote, & if I did, it would be Bush) If Kerry would of been in office same time Bush was for the 1st 4 years, I bet he would of done worse than Bush. Bush was put in hard times; so at least there's experience there. If Kerry was in office for those 4 years; who knows how life would be... Anyways; Bush & Kerry it's no so much of a personal thing, they have a board of people pretty much telling them what to say, as in every aspect in office or not.

u should vote for bush then, something to do on the 2nd.

What catches my attention during this election are all the personal attacks on W. From Al Franken to Michael Moore, the media has created personal hatred in a ton of leftists that I find hilarious. Some of the rumors I have heard about the President are rediculous. IMO, no one should challenge the man's character. He's done a great job of guiding our country through more than most Presidents. W04!

Abortion should be a choice of the 2 parties having the kid. Nobody should be able to make the decision of the abortion other than the 2 having the kid. Some people just aren't suited to have kids @ the times they do and how would the youth be if all the yuonger crowd that have had abortions had their kids right now? That would be a hude financial burden on a lot of people as well as a lt of stress and future problems. Would you want to have a kid you didn't wan't, couldn't afford, or couldn't handle? Let a lone by someone you despised, didn't know, etc?I can see if they got raped or something like that but if they did it on their own will and had a kid just make the kid go through it so then they can't just get off easy than give the kid up for adoption. Cause if the girl has to go through the birth of the child maybe make her think twice before having sex again cause then it's not an easy way out just to go have an abortion

I'm not saying bush wasn't in a situation of hard times, however he is the only president EVER to lower taxes in a time of war. Financially it doesn't make any sense. Realistically, the terrorists may never have to kill another american for them to win this war, right now we are reacting on fear and fear alone, that could very well bankrupt this country. Someone mentioned that kerry would have done the same thing...I kind of doubt it, Afganistan would have probably been similar, but Iraq, IMHO would not have happened, at least not at this time the way it did. How many fricken reports do we have to see to prove that Saddam didn't have WMD's and hasn't since 1992? What happened to this "grand coalition" that was going in to Iraq? USA, England, Australia and Poland hardly count as a grand coalition. We pushed our allies away based on Bush's own pride and vandetta, ignoring any/all intelligence that said Saddam was not an eminent threat to the US.

I agree 110%. This is where the dems and I have our biggest falling out. -
I would agreed with Tufte, the child belongs to the two individual, so they should be able to do whatever they want with it. The government have no rights to tell the mother or father what to do with their child.

I lost ALL respect for Kerry after spending months hearing about his purple hearts...
All he did was defend himself for getting them. At least he was there. 9 out of 10 of the people on his swiftboat backed up his story. PLUS ABC news went to Vietnam and found residents that backed up what happened on the river the day that he got his last one. I'm sure, like anything political, there is some gray area, but it seems that he is on the up and up. Also, if he wasn't under fire, why was his swiftboat taken out of commission to be repaired for multiple holes due to gunfire? -

Giving birth to a baby when the couple are not ready will make matters worse not only to the two individual but also the baby itself.

Thats why you give the good ole adopting agency a call. If you can't afford it, you still give the kid a chance at life
