they cant make you take it off, its 50 state legal. In order for him to physically remove it, he has to have no doubt whatsoever, that the questioned product is illegal the only thing they can do with that primarily is Window tint. If he has any question about your intake, he can't physically remove it. You could've walked away.

i've gotten 2 tickets for my muffler. one was from the cop at ben franklin jr high that followed me for 6 blocks before pullin me over. then the other time was cuz a cavalier revved their engine next to me with a cop RIGHT THERE and we both got pulled over..stupid cavi. ive also got a few for my tinted windows which is also gay. the first time, i had my windows down and he told me to roll them back up and i asked if i had to or if he needed a search warrant and he looked at me funny and i rolled them up lol. anyway i paid 60 bucks for everytime

That's why I wont bother to much with tint, or just go within the legal amount and areas. Just as long as it's not to obvious or obnoctious about it, mufflers and all other aftermarket should be legal and 50 state tested.

I've never even been questioned about my exhaust...maybe cuz its a 4 door family car. I'll be the first to admit my exhaust is too loud, and I'm surprised in the 1 1/2 years that I've had it on, no cop has pulled me over.

I am going to go and have another officer look at it and say I fixed it, he wont notice anything or tell the difference. God they need education on this stuff, or maybe not for our sake. I am not paying shyt, stupid rookie, don't know what he has done now. -
take it to court then ur gonan pay just for talking back to him anyways even if he is a stupid ass cop.
