cell phone pictures

ok well i bought a new phone today its a sanyo mm-7500 and well my other phone has some pictures on it, and i plan on using the new phones camera as well, but im wondering how i get the pictures onto a computer?
my new phone did comes with a usb cable but when i plug my phone in the install wizard says i need to load some software which didnt come w/ the new phone

so would someone please shed some light on this subject on how to get pictures and videos to my computer? im assuming i have to buy something

any help would be great
p.s. i am somewhat a computer idiot so small words please

Yeah bitpim works great, BUT you need to have the drivers for the phone installed before you EVER connect your phone to the computer or Windows will set it up with whatever drive it thinks will work, and it wont.

i have the same fone!!! just go to your picture mail on the sprint web-site and they should be in there, save picture as and use an upload site. www.putfile.com works i use that mainly

the thing is i dont want to pay another 15 bucks a month to upload a pic once in a while, or pay by the upload

also i have downloaded bitpim but i am having problems install the driver for my usb cord. any ideas? i downloaded the driver but the install wizard "cannot find the necessary software

Can you just use your old phone to email the pics to your email address? That's what I do with mine.

yes i can but i do not want to sign to the sprint internet because they charge extra and i would like to use the camera more and just load it to my pc
