I'm assuming you are saying whoever you talked to at Team wasn't pleasant to deal with? If they were mean, tell me who it was and I'll go bitch slap them for you.i was in there a handful of times a year or two ago maybe. i didnt bother to get a name, but whoever it was was always really short and snobby sounding. really condescending when i asked questions. he seemed like he really wasnt interested in selling anything. wouldnt surprise me if he didnt last long.
on the other hand, i do know of someone who got their truck tinted there and it turned out great. not saying you dont run a good business, but one bad employee can ruin a shops image.

Was he a blonde guy, thought he knew everything about everything? It was probably Trinity Schaff. If that is the case, he no longer works for Team.
I have friends at both shops (Team and Tintmasters) and have heard horror stories about both shops (sorry guys, just saying it like i've heard it). In reality, every shop is going to have a customer or two who gets pissed and tells the world how shitty they are...it comes with the territory. I'd recommend either shop as both should be able to meet your needs.

Hey can I get the clips for the trunk on my BMW (team?)?
I had my BMW tinted at Team, and I was for the most part happy with it, the back window looks kind of "ghetto" as the top line of the tint didnt stick to the window, troy said basically sanding it down would be the only way to get it done or something... oh well not the biggest deal in the world. Team had a few clips in my trunk that broke, and they are hopefully going to replace them sooner or later... it rattles pretty bad without them.
However, I think both prices in town are overpriced on thier tinting... Compared to the bigger cities

It goes like this if you do something good for a person the tell a few, but if something bad happens they will tell everyone they know not to go there. When you work on as many cars as either shop works on there is bound to some problems and things will get broke from time to time, thats just a fact. I have been doing this stuff for over 10 years now and do you think that everything goes perfectly for me all the time..........no. If something does get broken it normally does get fixed or taken care of.

Auto Trim and Design did mine and ive gone back twice to get it fixed and now that Im working at Corwin i deal with Tintmasters and they had to take out the back glass of a Matrix we had tinted and they didnt charge us extra and the job was done well. Ive seen some done at Team and theyre work is just as good as Tintmasters. I get discounts at a few places so price not so much a problem, Either one you go to you will be happy. I just got pulled over with 30% and just payed the ticket. I recommend goin with 50% on ur front two windows and dark as u want on back. Better than constantly paying 60$ tickets if you get pulled over.

I've personaly had problems with one of my windows that team did go to tintmasters

I would personally go to tintmasters.
Team will not get any of my business.
Everytime i was in there i was treated like shit. The guy was an ass and really didn't want to help me. So i went and ordered a nav system from crutchfield and had team install it. Well then a guy from team tells me girl they could have gotten it for the same price.
While the guy i talked to said he couldn't get one and if he could it would have costed $2200 which i only paid $1700 thru crutchfield. The nav system went in a 04 xterra and the install was pretty crappy and the dash never cliped back into the dash right. Instalation cost was $150
Well she actually traded the vehicle in for an 06 xterra and had the nav system pulled out of the 04 and put in the 06.Uninsallation in the 04 $50
Instalition cost in the 06($165) Team proceded to tell her it would cost an addational $200 dollars for a speed pulse generator for the nav system to work after they installed the system.Well she didn't want to pay the addational cost so she told them to put the stock radio back in since there was no point in having a nav system in a vehicle that didn't work.Well that would have costed $50 to remove the sytsem.
Well she picked the truck up with a non working nav system and there were scratches in her dash panels where the panels were pryed on. Team did not want to do a thing for any of the problems so she put a stop payment on the check.
So needless to say team never got payed for the instalation in the 06 and has not contacted my girlfriend to fix the problems or to get paid. -
Nothing against Fitzy I believe he was at tint when I have my 6 in at team... I believe he's the one that did the install on my convertible when he was in forks working for dynamic audio and that system kicked ass (14th at IASCA International Invatational finals) just don't like how management/sales at team treated me when my box went to hell after 4 weeks and was told the tint(5 weeks after done) rip caused by a buble I didn't notice was my fault and they wouldn't cover that either much less they ordered the wrong size tires from what I told them

tremich, could i stop in and talk to you at team sometime this week?

With all the time and money you're going to waste trying to tint your own car, you will be better off paying someone to do it for you.
