Very rare! 200 ever made. Bought it with intentions on restoring it, but due to my divorce it will never happen, since my ex-brother inlaw was my auto restoration guy and I may be moving away eventually. It's been in storage since I bought it.

It runs and drives, has 160,xxx miles, but it has almost 3 year old gas.... Tires are shot, and are impossible to use on the road.

Door handles are the infamous problematic type, open from the top down on the side of the doors. Both do not work from the outside, the drivers side doesnt work at all, the passenger from the inside.

    Interior needs work.

Hood latch inside is busted, didn't feel like getting dirty to open the hood, but evreything is underneath!

    Has remote start.

Exterior needs work. The GFX is in the trunk, it's fiberglass, needs some work, but nothing that cannot be fixed. The trunk won't open at the moment with the key, it use to before I put it in storage, I have not tried to force it too much, I don't care.

It has the 3.1 engine, before storage I dropped the trans pan and replaced the filter, gasket, and fluid that came out.

The hood is new when I got it, primed, needs to be painted. I do have a parts car that might still be available for the exterior pieces that need replacement (Both rear 1/4s, and rocker panels) I told my ex bro inlaw he can scrap the car instead of me taking it back to my place, I am sure he still has it.

The rear brake lines are shot, I have some new brake components in the car in the boxes as well as some parts from the parts car, various stuff.

    What makes the Phantom special?
-200 ever made, a center console plaque signifying so

    • Out on East Coast, came in either Black or White
      -Model only GFX
      -Model only Spoiler
      -Decaling and Badging
      -FE3 Sport Suspension

Total restoration project for something so unique! From internet searching a few years ago, I am the only one West of the Mississippi that owns one, no idea how many are actually on the road. There was rumer that there was a black one in Fargo ND, but never confirmed.

Own a unique project for $1000

Would that happen to be the one that phantomFE3 on the w-body.com forum owned. IF it is, I am not sure its worth much. He sold it cause the tranny fried and it was rusty.

I just so happened to be a member of that forum, and your location sparked me to remember that car.

So pretty much the only thing that made them special was the sweet suspension?

yep, the suspension, ground effects, wing and a little badge on the dash that said 1 of 200. Thats about it.

Um it use to be PhantomFE3s, but I got it from him, the tranny was not fried. Infact, he had it way over full in the tranny fluid department, causing the the fluid to foam up, thus allowing the TQ to disengage. I dropped the pan, the fluid in it obviously, replaced the filter, and topped her off correctly, and it drives no problem.

I am not PhanotmFE3, that's Dave, not me.

I listed what made the Phantom "so special".

I know a place around here where u can get the door handles for round $20-30 (Which is pretty cheap from what i've seen). I had to get one for my regal, so it's the same thing.
