1.8L to 2.0L Swap

Hey, I got a P.O.S. 1.8L in my Talon and was wondering if the 2.0 would almost drop right in? I plan on waiting till next summer or untill engine blows to do the task and I probably won't be attempting to do it myself. So give me any information you can about it and it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks

dont, just find a gsx/tsi. You'll have the same problem of dumping money into it, but you wont have the money problem of trying to get it to work with a swap.

Yeah, After reading many reviews it sounds like a lot of trouble and a money pit, I'll just be lookin for a TSI next summer and enjoy the slow ass ride that fallows behind the 1.8 for now. I was also wondering does anyone know about hacking the air can of the 1.8s? I know there is really no change but I hear it makes it louder so if anyone has somekind of instructions PM me please. Thanks
