New Cobra R in town?

Hey,
Has anybody seen a Silver Cobra R in town? It is the 99-04 Body style but I don't know what year for sure. I saw it on 13th ave. the other night, it is a convertible as well. It looks like it could :icon_puke_l: on some hondas in town. LOL

There were only 300 2000 Cobra R's, all red, no verts. It was just a regular mustang cobra you saw.

Yeah I realize that there were only 300 made and that they were red but I am wondering if it was custom painted silver and it has a custom carbon fiber convertible top, not just the regular mustang top... I don't know it doesn't look like anything I have every seen.

if someone painted a real 00R then they need to be shot. Those aren't by any means a run of the mill car, and finding one in good shape that wasn't thrashed on the racetrack could be difficult.

what makes you think it was an R anyway?

Only mustang that got Ttops was a fox (mid 80s IIRC).

Only thing 'odd' for a top on a mustang was the 95 Cobra optional convertable hardtop ('Fargo' has one). 499 built in Triple Black only, 1995 cobras only.

There is a silver Stang with T tops I believe the guy works at Starbucks on 25th and 32nd

Don't know why I put Hardtop in there, just made a quick post..

But I've seen a New silver SVT with Dealer plates cruising around quite a bit.

i know the guy, his name is Josh Sojka he does work at starbucks, the car is only a v-6 auto, with alot of body work done so far. he just bought it like 2 weeks ago, and he paid 7,000 for the car! its pretty nice tho!

i saw it tonight. i saw all the cobra badges and got excited.. then saw the rear bumper and exhaust as drove past me and was disapointed.

I live close to Starbucks and I see this eyesore of a Mustang everyday, it especially hurts because I have a real Cobra.

Rebadging a car that you don't actually have is ghey ghey ghey, the owner should be ashamed.

Sorry guys but I have seen the dude beat a stock cobra in town and he barely lost to a saleen, the car is a little faster than u guys think. :icon_profileright:
