Our Country is going to Hell...

hahha. maybe taxes just seem high because our dollar is 73% or so(not updated so just a shot in the dark) of theres. They got nicer benefits though, what beats free health care. But, I'd much rather have Bush as my leader, more secure, then Kerry or whoever the canadian prime minister is. Honestly, don't know it heh.

Seems like a good place to ask this..
Why do some people (especially that dumbass Michael Moore) always talk about our military men and women in a "Look at what Bush did to these people!!!" sort of way. FOR GODS SAKE THEY SIGNED UP FOR THE DAMN MILITARY!!! THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE GETTING IN TO!! If I joined the military and a year later we were in a war, even if I was 150% against the war, I'd go and fight and if I died I wouldn't want the blame for my death placed on anyone but ME.(and the fucker that shot me)
There was this interview I saw where Michael Moore kept asking the news guy "Would you send your own son off to die, would you? would you?"(imagine this in an irritating fat ass voice that he has). I wanted to be there so much so I could slap that idiot across the face and tell him that no parents are sending their kids to war, the kid that chose to sign up for the fucking military sent himself/herself to war by knowingly putting themselves in that situation.
Ahh...I feel better.
P.S. - There won't be a draft unless this turns into WW3, in which case. Sign me up.

If you pay $5000 a year in taxes for health care and only end up using an equivalent of $2000. You got fucked.
But if you pay $5000 in taxes for health care and use $10000, then it works in your advantage.

i just thought there were some certain benefits oh well. thanks. That interview was with INDEPENDANT Bill O'Reilly. Some think O'Reilly won, some think Moore won, I didn't see it and didn't want to read the transcript, but my money would be on O'Reily because Moores an idiot. I do enjoy his documentaries as I think they bring some spice to the table, haven't seen Farenheit but Roger & Me and Bowling for Columbine were some pretty interesting movies. I see your born in 1984, you should already have signed up. WW3 would only happen if China, Russia get involved.

i saw that interview. it was pretty lame. started out nice and civil (o'reilly wanted moore on his show for a long time) but eventually turned into a shouting match. personally i think o'reilly is a fucking idiot. a lot of people would say moore isnt much better, which i guess is true, but i would much rather listen to what moore had to say than o'reilly. its funny how when he (o'reilly) takes calls on the radio and doesnt agree with something the caller says, he calls then stupid and hangs up on them, but when the person agrees with him, he gives them free stuff.
but yeah. back on track.. i think our country is definitely heading in the wrong direction.. especialy after we invaded iraq. if you were to go around the world asking people what they thought of america, most of them wouldnt think too highly of us. weve definitely lost a lot of support from around the world, (not to mention lives and lots of money) which we are going to need if we want to stay the greatest country in the world.
thats my partial rant for the night.

Just like how everybody hates the Yankees, Everybody hates the lakers, Everybody hates America. Why do you act like all of a sudden when Bush was elected, the world just gave us a cold shoulder. Nobodys ever liked us because nobody likes the best. The 93 WTC, 00 USS Cole just to name a few attacks because of the hatred for us. This was all pre-Bush so why's that his fault. If you listen to local radio, it's just as bad as O'Reilly. Listen to Ed Schultz, he should be getting an ear full, him and his stupid followers Homey and the other loser after all the Bush bashing they did. If they prove Ed wrong, he hangs up on him to, it's just radio personality and they can do whatever they want with it.

just outta curiosity, if nothing had happened on september 11th, do you think we would be in iraq right now?

all of you people that are whining about kerry not winning... are you sure you understand what sort of implications his winning would've had? the democrats are against war (for the most part) and kerry was intending the internationalize our national security (correct me if i'm wrong). do you realize what that means? our hands would be tied until the un decided we could retaliate!
do a search for george soros and tell me that you want a guy like him to have a hand in our country. why would he? he helped kerry get elected!! he's essentially bet against the economies of other countries, gained weight in the country and helped the economy's downturn to his advantage.
for this election, forget the draft, stem-cell research, the economy and even how stupid bush is... what matters is that he is trying to keep us safe. without national security, we would have no chance to research, no economy, democracy or freedom to join the military.
i hate bush as much as a lot of people, but i am more afraid of what kerry would do. -

The only thing I disagree w/ is that after 9/11 the whole world gave us their support to combat terror, somehow we went from that to being viewed as the greatest threat to world peace in just 2 years (2001 to 2003).Actually, Ed will let people argue with him if they have the facts, if they call him up and say dumb stuff like "you shoot your dog lately you left wing...yada yada..." he hangs up on them. At least he halfway gives them a chance to voice their opinion, unlike every other talk radio show out there that screens the calls, he takes them cold...only knowing what state they are from on his national show.

I think this is were many people looked at Kerry's plan incorrectly. When he said "Pass the global test" what was meant was that we should make sure that the way we are going about it isn't going to cause more violence than it prevents. That we should sit back and look @ how we plan on pursuing things rather than jumping the gun and alienating our allies. It didn't say that we would wait for permission, just that we should make sure what we are doing is in the best interest of not only ourselves, but the world too. If we keep playing cowboys and just ride into any country that might someday in the unforeseen future be a threat, the countries that are a threat now might just decide its time to oppose us (China, Russia, etc....) That's what the "global test" statement was about, but Rush, Hannity, etc.....spun that shit until it took what he said and made it sound like we want to be a pacifist nation. -
I think that if they found WMD's over there which the world (including Kerry) thought he had them all this crap talk would be silent. If we would have left Sadaam go after 12 yrs of resolutions and one of those WMD's found it's way here...man then Bush would have been an even more of a bastard. He made a tough decision between bad or worse. Bad is what we are in now...but could've been worse if WMD got over here. Clinton could have done something too, but he didn't and the result is 911.
How are you suppose to be in a coalition with countries that are in bed with the terrorists? Germany, Russia, France were filling their pockets....they didn't give a rats ass about the mass graves etc. Their failure to join us is proof.
"Oil for food scandal" anyone?

whether he had them or not, if he used it on us, 9-11 would just be a little thing compared to a nuclear.
