Ok I'm making this its own thread becuse its such a good idea.

I this will be a event held on July 1st of 2005. And here are the rules ( If there are any problems with my rules just pm me and I will adjust them. )

<u>Rules:</u>

-Your budget cant go over $1500 any thing more then that will not be "Junkyard"
-Any one can enter just build a car this winter.
-It will cost money to enter the tournament there be prizes for 1st 2nd 3rd. Including a large case of beer for 1st place!

Im in if I can find the right car. Gravedigger is in by default... his car is a peice of trash so he automatically qualifies.

Again, is the $1500 budget including vehicle price or just mods price? I already have the Rav4...but I bought it for $11,000

If you want to find a car go talk to Car Dealerships and ask them about buying there trade in's.

Thats how I find my cars, my dad works for three car dealerships and he just keeps his eyes out for me.

I was SOOOOO close to getting a Grand International V6 Turbo for $200 bucks... But I had no where to put it...

Yep that should include the car, other wise it would be battle of the $$$.

1999, bought it last year w/ 11,000 miles...paid $11,000 for it...AWD

Yeah that doesnt count for Junkyard sorry man, But I would like to see you enter the tournament. Just pick up a $50 car.

I have that Geo Prizm laying around at my parents house....or I could break out the 79 Plymouth Volare...bought it for $1350...hemi-powered...but that wouldn't be fair either...lol

The Geo Prizm would be perfect for this. The more werid the better!

Oh back in the day I think I would of had the perfect Car a 79 Ford Fiesta (Not a festiva; this car was only made in 78 & 79) We took out the windows; gave it a hood scoop; used spray paint.. No $ whatsoever into the car. Oh and we took the exhaust manifold off and it was louder than trucks w/ str8 pipes (prolly way louder)

yeah, but it has to be $1500 total....car and parts.

well my car is worth about $50 right now...so i still have 1450 to spend on my new engine and turbo!!

I'd love to get in on this, but my current car is pretty close to a "junkyard" car. And I want to put any "extra" money I make into that. If I find something interesting and worth it, it would be a great way to pass the time this winter. Racing pretty much shuts down.
