Has anyone ever used one of there boost coolers, other brand or DIY system? I'm just curious how effective it is, where to get methonal, and is there any downsides.

we are a dealer for snow and have seen phenomal gains on some, and minimal on others. They MUST be tuned on the dyno to effectively see the gains achieved w/ the rest of the tuning involved. People who put on the kits and just expect a large gain will be disappointed. I have picked up 55+ on a few vehicles, and I have also only saw less than 10 hp increase.

I think if you're having a hard time cooling boost with an intercooler then it'd be worth it, otherwise you'll probalby be in the minimal gains category.

we did it back in the day. no dyno numbers, but it seemed to help. a nice kit done up good should make a nice increase, especially if your ic is not up to par

I have a 24x12x3 bar and plate set up. Intake temps stay pretty cool according to my EMS readings. Just figured couldnt go wrong with getting them lower, plus I'll need it next year anyways.

Dynotune- I have a innovate wideband hooked up to my EMS (megasquirt) and have the car tuned fairly well with a decent A/F map. What you gonna charge me for an hours worth of pulls and tuning? Be nice to get them in before the 10th. Nicer yet would be before motor magic this weekend but I doubt thats doable. Unless your gonna be there.

I apologize but we are booked solid until the week of Sept. 18th- if you wanted to leave the car here for a couple days I could probably squeeze it in, but that may not be practical for you... We charge $125/hr w/ wideband.
let me know if we can help!

Screw IC's, just a flow restriction:) Just use Meth for fuel.

Damn, thats to bad. When are the next events that your doing? I'll be up in Minot this weekend of coarse. Otherwise I'll have to call and set something up. I have a few more tidbits I'd like to do to the car before a tune session.

No IC.............nah, I'll pass. Granted I probly could on the 8psi I'm running at the moment but I plan on at least 15 next track day and thats a bit much for no IC.
