24 inchs none stop with stick would build up some major heat in that area. no wonder your are hurts, and then 3 passes ouch

Good point, that would be difficult to do without running out of rod, so good work if it was arc Joel!

It isn't arc, he has to do 3 2' passes doing short-circuit MIG, if he stops or screws up any of those passes another is added, then he has to do 3 2' passes doing spray MIG, same deal about screwing up. In my class I was the only one to do it in 6 passes, the next closest to me was 8.

I did some vertical up(hardest mig weld IMO) friday of last week, perfect travel speed, but i wasnt consistant

Well I just wanted to let yall know I passed the weld test at DMI(Best one he's seen in a year). I start tomorrow and will be working Friday Saturday and Sunday from 6 to 6. Work 36, get payed for 40. Pretty sweet! that's all, you probably don't care anyways!
