It just needs a different ECU, I dont know what year it is, came with my car but it's OBD0.

so the p28 is OBD2 then?? or will it work with OBD1

It's an OBD 1 ecu that's been adapted to an OBD 2 car. So it'd be for an OBD2 car with an OBD1 engine swap in it.
