Well i bought my H22 Prelude thru them and they wanted an outrageous amount considering the body work needed. And right before i went to pick it up i walked over to the car and the spoiler was missing. I asked them about it and they said it had gotten stolen since the last time I saw the car. How the hell do you steal a spoiler......lol. Well after talking them down a bit I got a decent price and the car ran great for about a year and a half. All i had to replace was egr valve and my harmonic balencer. Other than that It was a great car.

If you really want to get screwed, go buy a car from Premier and then get tires mounted at Fargo Tire :icon_blackeye:

                    It's a basic premier ad. 🙂

I dont know if paddle shifting was the right term. I think they call it something else. It's got a + and - down at the bottom. Like most new cars with automatics have.

What really blew me away. He said it had a 5 speed automatic. I wished my 91 300zxTT had a 5sp auto. Then again they didnt have 5sp auto's back then.

I think you got lucky. If that had a turbo/supercharger then he lets his kids beat on it till they get sick of it.

I think he said he paid $6500? $6000? The amount changes everytime I ask him. He got a loan and made one payment. I said didnt you drive it before you bought it? He told me that it didnt have a problem then.

Im sitting here thinking how the hell did 3rd gear get screwed up. Then I started asking his dad questions. His dad goes on and tells me that his son likes to use the + and - sifting feature all the time.

Know that i think about it thats probably how 3rd gear got screwd up. Hell its a automatic let it shift by its self. If he was racing it hell knock yourself out and walk it through the gears. thats my opinion on that.

5th gen ludes have a 3 speed auto that is well known to be fragile. It is called an ss (sport shift) automatic.

IMHO he probably just got bored whne he was driving and shifted through all of the gears while rolling at the same speed. the "Shift tronic" device is the most lame thing ever... it takes between 5 and 10 seconds for the computer to realize you want it to shift... IMHO the only Auto-Stick car I would own would be a TT, ot an M3...

oh and to answer your question... if he bought it from premier, chance are it was sold as is... all they are doing is wasting money. The only thing they could get them for is the EGR thing, since it has to do with emissions...

The cars from there are mostly auction vehicles. The usually sell them cheap tho.
