Why did you buy the car you have now? I'm just curious as to what makes people want certain cars and why they buy the ones they do.

I bought my Accord because it was a comfortable car with a great reputation for reliability that fit into my budget. Practicality.

crappy '96 accord - its cheap and reliable and free's up cash for other things. I've done the $50k+ car thing a half dozen times, I guess its not a priority anymore...

I wanted a black Honda coupe that was a 5-speed.

Then I found a rust free crx that only had 2 owners for 1k, that fit all of the above. Done, and done.

P.s. (For once a good thread idea by CMK:icon_cheers: )

because I have a thing for chargers and this is the 6th one i've owned. I just like the way this one handles on the highway so I keep it around for when i feel like stretching my legs.

I don't really know, i thought it would be a sweet car, which i guess it is pretty nice. It was something different and fun. And damn girls love it.

So, which cars/people are you referring to?

                      Just curious.

As far as the Miata. I've always wanted one and had the opportunity to afford one after I quit smoking and got smart enought to sell my DSM.:icon_puke_l:

I'd always wanted a Mustang (at least since I was 10) and so I got a job to be able to afford one. Knew I had to get a v8 one since the V6's were gay, and this was the only V8 one I could afford at the time so I jumped on it. Though I don't really regret purchasing it, I wish it was a 5spd and didn't have a salvage title.

A Supra has been my realistic(or not so realistic when I first wanted one) dream car as long as I can remember. Too bad it wasn't the right time.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

As far as my Suburban it was too hard to see out the back window of a Blazer with two dual 12" boxes (4 total) on top of each other so I got something bigger and better, since it was a Texas truck no rust and absolute perfect condition, my Grand Am was an easy choice......under 4grand and 35mpg, 5spd was a must it just came before I saw anything else, great work car cheap and easy to work on

because i wanted an awd, turbo car and couldn't afford a wrx at the time. plus I got a pretty good deal. I wanted something to work on, and I got my wish, but I wanted to work on making it faster not just fixing the damn thing. Although it's ran pretty well for the last 3 or so months. jinx
