probably because the inline six had a turbo to begin with...

I watched a video I found on the site, and it ran 11.4...nothing to complain about but damn, you could make the original engine run that fairly easily.

            no race car? becuz homeowner...

You guys don't get it. This guy put a supercharged, pushrod, all aluminum V8 in place of an inline 6. The entire car after all of the mods and the engine swap is some 70 pounds lighter. Double the stock power using a lighter package. Read the about page and it explains everything.

According to the site the 11 second run was done while going easy on it because of the weak rear axles.

And if it was a turbo 911 to start w/ it it runs 11's stock anyways.

it looked like it was a 1970s or 80s 911 he said it only had 178hp stock

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

It seems a little reminiscent of the original Shelby Cobra, using a lightweight European chassis with an American V-8. Forced induction LS-1 engines are always good for some big numbers; that must be one heck of a ride.
