Dustin I feel your pain...I burn 3000calories a day literally just sitting on my ass. When I lifted regularly, I was recommended 5000+ calories to put on any muscle. I was about 5% body fat and couldn't gain weight for the life of me. For me, any weight is good weight. I usually eat 5-6 meals a day, and when I'm lifting, I have a double dose of Whey twice a day...

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

My brother maintains a 6000+ calorie diet a day and is 204 lbs of solid muscle... It's rediculous almost. He also partially lives in the gym haha.

x2 man I pretty much eat my main meals each day like breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they are always pretty healthy. Like for breakfest, eggs and toast and a glass of orange juice. For lunch I always make a sandwich in the morning and eat it at lunch. And for supper I always each something halfways healthy like lasagna or spaghetti. Something like that. I love pasta. But I always seem to gain weight. :icon_scratch: Is there something I am missing?

I have at least 1 protein shake per day too.

Just got done with 4 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, 2 pancakes, and another glass of milk. In about an hour i'll go get 3 taco bravo's from taco johns and a medium dew...I have had no urge to use the bathroom yet...

there is something disturbingly satisfying about eating nothing but pure garbage and complaining about being skinny. metabolisms are neat.

I used to have that problem, now I eat about 25% of what I used to and have 25% more body fat....and weigh the exact same amount unfortunately. Case in point, my Senior year of HS I weighed 225lbs w/ a 28" waist, now I weigh 225lbs w/ a 35" waist.

I wouldn't classify eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, a banana, and milk as garbage.

Pancakes aren't exactly healthfood nor is ice cream, but both contain carbs/fat which I need and the taco's have protien and fat as well.

I wouldnt either. Mcdonalds, taco johns, wendys, arbys, a&w, burger time, and pappa johns is though.

Ive found that you can offset this by drinking busch light.

Bah the McDonalds thing was just because I wanted to enjoy the free food while I still had access to it. I only have fast food on Tuesdays usually and it's because of Taco Tuesdays...

Just don't slow down your activities at all. I haven't been as active since High School and it catches up with me a little bit because I ate a lot of fast food since I found it extremely hard to get my needed calories otherwise(just not enough time to thoroughly plan my meals). I am actually starting to lose shape in my ab muscles for the first time in my life. Give me a week or so straight in the gym and I bet I'll undo most of what the past year or two has done without a regular workout.

And Dustin, you are lucky with the no shitting thing. I usually shit right after I eat, and it's so bad because its the garbage that even my body wouldn't take as nutrition lol...
