I think kirk is an idiot. plot developtment is for the lifetime channel.

theyre not what they used to be.
the old ones would plug in randoms, but keep it a legit episode.
these new ones are just 30 minutes of dookie

I thought Family Guy has reduced its ranchiness... Like they had to cut back on how sick or what they make fun of... But then again, they still do push their limits..
Overall: I think they are still good.. -
i think its gotten quite a bit more liberal with what goes on/is said....?

The biggest problem that Seth Mc was going to face is newer material and newer events to base a lot of the material on too. One of the biggest advantages the older stuff has is it has been around for awhile, available to watch any time, and we all can relate to it easily due to the relative "newness" of it yet it is still 4-6 years old. The new stuff is right now and is just coming out to view any time. I have seen all the older episodes at least 10 times each and they are all still funny. I havn't been able to see the newer stuff as often, maybe 2-3 times on tv and just got the 5th season on DVD and still havn't been able to watch it. I find nothing hugely different between them and they are equally funny. Some are great, some are not. Just like the older episodes. It isn't like Matt G with the Simpsons to where they had several years of nothing good and lost a lot of fans, but they did come back mostly due to the age of the show (18 years now is it?). American Dad came out at the right time with all the terrorism that is going on to make fun of. Back when 9/11 happened, we all would have shunned Seth Mc. And now Matt G will be facing a similar problem with Futurama when it comes back in the next year or so. But it will be good because from what I have heard, same actors and voices equals a better chance of a succesful return.

The Family Guy and Futurama on cartoon network is old school episodes and always good. The new ones have gotten kinda like every other cartoon and they dont say/make fun of what they use to.
