Adjustable FPR on NA engine?

What I would really like to do is get M3 cams and the Conforti chip specifically tuned for them, but thats like $600 right there. If I had the money I would go with Sunbelt cams + valvesprings = 9600rpm on stock lifters, all for only ~$2700!

I have an eprom on the way and maybe some pullies down the road, but thats about it. As to the two options, we don't all have the money to go turbo, and still want to mod our cars. I wouldn't say its quite that simple. -

What gains did you get out of this, I'm quite curious? The omly thing I see a Rising Rate FMU good for is when you are turboing a car and are a complete cheap ass, or have no other option for tuning. -
Every good fuel pressure regulator is rising rate. My Aeromotive is a 1:1 rising rate FPR.
