But how capable is the new V6 and V8? The straight six they used to put in there has easily made over 1000WHP with just things like new injectors, turbo's and what not...My question is, How capable is the new supra? Will it live up to the expectations of us supra lovers?

why would they completely reinvent the wheel? I'm sure that the v8s could probably take the power, but this is more like a viper than a supra. out of the box 400 whp, cmon...

Because, why would they make a V8 Supra when the I6 2JZ motor made alot of power. I don't understand why you would want to buy a car with that much power to the wheels already. It's almost like it's already modded and there isn't much left to do...Seems like a waste to me...I think they should upgrade the I6, twin-turbo it again, and sell them as they were. They were/are gorgeous cars...They should keep them that way....
