^That should be a great first bike. How many miles on it?
I finished putting the R6 back together this past weekend. I bought a set of mint left fairings for cheap on Ebay and it's back to looking good as new. I'm so fucking sick of staring at the damn thing every day when I come home though. I wanna ride:icon_shaking:

my friend has the 93' CBR 900rr and I love that thing... he has a erian racing pipe and that thing sounds like a bute... Although he had to get it rebuilt this summer, and couldnt ride the whole season, cause university motors sucked and all the parts were back ordered... he wants to sell it for $4000 and I am thinking of buyin it... but dont know if it is worth it.

You can easily get a newer, better bike for $4k.

Its got like 1300 on it, it's super nice, not a scratch.

Yes, obviously, there was alcohol involved.I haven't gotten out yet this year. Too lazy to take the bike out of the entry way.
As for gear, since that was asked about also, I ride with an Alpinestars jacket, KBC helmet, Setup "vision" boots which are manufactured under the supervision of SIDI, and Alpinestars gloves. I don't fuck around.
I love the fit of all my gear, with only one complaint on the jacket, it doesn't have a zipper in it to connect it with a pair of pants for a track day.
