Therapeutic Animal?

I am looking at getting a new puppy and I heard that if you live in an apartment, even if they have a no pets rule, you can have one as long as you have a note from your doctor saying it is therapeutic. Does anyone have experience doing this, is it legit?

Yes it's legal, just had a convo bout this earlier tonight. If you have a doctor's letter saying you need it, then it's like the equivalent to a seeing eye dog. You can bring it anywhere's, if someone doesnt let you, you can use the American's With Disabilities Act and sue their asses. A friend of my family was telling me about it tonight because she's got a letter and all that stuff for her dogs.

I actually stopped taking my ADD-eral when I finished highschool and really dont feel the best anymore, like less motivated. My girlfriends dogs helps me, seriously....

I was seeing a girl who was able to get a doctors note to have her dog at her apparment. She had to jump though hoops like a seal when it was all said, and done.

I need to go to the doctor anyways for a check up I havent been there in like 2 years.

Just go see a psychiatrist. I know mine would definately write me a letter for something like that. You sure it's only ADD, could be depression too, most of the symptoms cross over or go together.
