Sorry - I was thinking of the in-car WRC footage you see. Those have hand brake handles that are right up next to the steering wheel. Obviously different classes/preparation levels have different restrictions. For that matter, i don't know that the e-brake mechanism/location is in a different spot on the WRC car, only that that on some of them the handle is right by the steering wheel. Maybe its a really long lever going to the stock mechanism?
If i'm thinking like your thinking, then you're talking about their shift lever.
the ebrake is in stock location, but the lever starts at a really large angle because they can't be reaching around their seat to grab it. Also, with a hydro e-brake, you can set them to only have a 1 inch movement till lock.
I'll try to find pics...

fact: faber you cant driftFact: Neither can you.
Fact: I don't claim to be a drifter, and I don't plan on claiming it.
Fact: If you haven't drifted at an event, past the begginers section, STFU about how you know how to drift.
Fact: People on this site that claim that drifting is easy as hell..... are just dumb.
Fact: Sliding on Ice is not drifting, or anywhere close, no matter how similar they appear to be.
Fact: Just because I have 240s does not mean I am a building it to be a drifter.
This is it for now. -

if your not in a drift event then obviously theres no point to doing it while racing....

QFT!!Fact: Drifters (pro drifters, not sddrift) tend to make really really good grip racers since they tend not to freak out when their car goes into a slide around a corner. Instead they tend to react in a correct manner.

sddrift is an idiot on the internet. but sad to say, he was the only one on here to attent and compete in a drift event.(I am in no way saying he is a BA drifter, but he at least has competed in a event. That right there gaving him more knowledge on actual drifting then anyone on this forum)

anyone here on this forum can go compete in a drift event.....

No shit. But, how many would ever even do it(actually)????? the number is less the 15, if not closer to 10.There's only one thing stopping me, that's my weak ass rear diff. The bean is easy to get sidewayz and hold it there. Not that I'm any sort of "pro drifter"..... not even close but that car makes it sooo easy to do.

A road is a freakin road and it does not matter if there are cones set up in a vacant lot in South Dakota. I seem to remember some tofu driver who never saw the likes of a track and went on to become one of the greatest.:icon_thumleft:
This message brought to you by someone who knows absolutely nothing about drifting, touge, any sort of mountain pass downhill race, nor have I read or watched anything produced by OPTIONS or in any way do I condone drifting in a sanctioned event. Thank You and have a nice day.
