Try buying a copy of Hemmings Torbs. You should be able to locate one there. Thanks for the suggestion Wes...but the price range is VERY low...mainly looking for a parts truck to restore or truck with a bad body, but good chrome grill. My G-pa is really into 54's, so I've been on the lookout for him for awhile now. I found one a couple months ago on ebay, but he wasnt too interested in it mainly because it didnt have a chrome grill, and was a 3/4T (was 5 window though)...that one sold for 300ish i think.
Basically, willing to pay 100ish for a grill, or $350ish for a complete truck with chrome grill and a 5 window cab. 1/2T chassis also prefered (or w/e the lightest one was during that time)...
He already has 2 grills, but he wants a chrome one...ya know, one of his trucks is kinda one of those miracle stories. Parked out for 20 years...thought the motor was locked up. About five years ago it turned out to be the starter...so he pulled the starter out. Gave it a bit of gas and pulled it with the tractor for about 10-15 seconds and she fired right up...20 years and it takes 15 seconds...WTF...idk if a honda can even manage that one lol.

i just checked car-part.com and hazers apparently has a 1954 2T...dont want the chassis obviously, but does anybody know if it has a chrome grille on it?

yo torbs i might have found a grill for you, shop teacher has a couple old chevys, i'll find out what years they are

I dunno, but hazers well rape you on the pricing. I was in there today, and some guy was looking for just the AC bracket for a big block chevy and they quoted him $110.
Have you looked for a book that has complete restoration parts in it? I don't remember the name, but some company probably makes the part new.

sorry torbs, all he had were later 50's, 58+, and none with chrome grills
