The stuff at Fleet Farm isn't the good Amsoil. It's like half of the quality of the original kind, trust me I worked there for almost 2 years and a lot of it was in the automotive and tire center.

              Current Cars:
08 Honda Ruckus - Stunt Machine
              93 Subaru Impreza L - DD/ Winter beater
90 Honda CRX - Project car
              90 Honda CRX Dx - Burnt (R.I.P.) - Racecar

              Past Cars: 85 Chevy C-10, 87 Dodge D-50, 91 Honda Prelude Si, 91 Buick Regal, 91 Acura Integra Ls, 87 Mazda RX-7, 90 Honda Civic Si, 91 Honda Civic Si, 89 Chevy S-10, 91 Honda Crx Hf, 91 Acura Integra Rs, 95 Subaru Impreza L, 92 Acura Integra GSR, 89 Mazda RX-7 (LT1), 88 Mazda RX-7, 92 Civic Cx, 87 Mazda RX-7 TII

I'm trying to figure out how it "Isn't the good amsoil" since amsoil is probably the most consistent manufacturer of oils around and is considered very high quality. They (fleet farm) buy their oil from the same buy sheet that I do, so I find it hard to believe that they are getting an inferior oil or that amsoil has a special "Fleet Farm" blend. Thats not saying that amsoil doesn't have a couple different kinds of 10W-30 and whatnot, but those are available to anyone that sells amsoil. Check around on their site http://www.amsoil.com/products/motoroils/index.aspx to see the different blends they have and I'll personally assure you that the bottle you buy off the shelf at Fleet Farm will have the exact same formulation as the bottle bought from me or Bergs or Napa.

Then why do some amsoil's say 1 year/ 25,000 miles, and the stuff at fleet is 6 months/7,500 miles. Fleet sells the XL kind, not the AS kind. I didnt mean quality in the right way sorry, I meant it in reference to how long the suggest it lasts, there must be a difference between the two.

Do you know what the actual difference is, the ATM or whatever is the original kind that's been out for years.

more carefully formulated blend designed to last longer and resist breakdown.
