Got my Car Back

Well after about 4 lonely months at SLS my car is finally back home. Just a few minor probs to take care of with Kevin and I will be at 100%. Hopefully the last winter the car will have to indure then maybe I can get a beater and retire this one when winter comes around.

Hell yeah, except when i drove it home the alt belt was not quite tight it made a awful "eeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrt" sound when i tried to take off from a stop.

Welcome to owning a DSM! LOL everybody's belts squeel. LT's doesnt EVER stop. Mine squeels when I turn on my fans / headlights.
Almost everybody I know that has a DSM when they start it squeels!
Anyway, yeah, tighten it up see if it fixes it, if not, part of the dsm ownership. lol search tuners for belt squeel... you'll be amazed

Yeah i tightened it and drove it around the block so i hope its fixed.

Poop now that I think about it I dont know if Kevin put my nice Ported Evo Manifold on this new engine or not. Blah. Ah well a few things to work out.

Sounds good man, didnt know if you knew i had the new manifold or not. Anyway seems to be running good. I might not be able to make it monday. I work from 11:30-7:30, if you will be around the shop after that i can stop by.

I should be there , other wise just call me id like to talk to you about some stuff... Glad to hear its running good we have had good luck with the Jdm engine's. You gonna race this summer?? if so you need more boost and a better tune might think about getin a S-afc.... I know you already bought your x-mas gift ...Engine lol....if you need a tranny down the road i have one... And willing to let if go for dirt!!

I am gunna try and make it to the track next summer. I have been thinking about a s-afc for awhile. Prolly this summer sometime i will try and spring from one. And I may try and go for a manual tranny or just upgrade my auto. Either way thats a long term future project. I will try and call over on my break at work so we at leased can talk about the car.
