Welcome..Very clean dsm! A solid 2gb TSi always has my attention over an eclipse. BTW you aren't the ONLY one with a rust free dsm around here
Thank you! I agree, 2G Eclipses are just all to common IMO. I might be the only one with a rust free 2G. 1G's don't tend to rust so bad. And I bet I can find some rust on just about any 2G around here. You just gotta know where to look.
Haha!
I love apple products. Ihave a macboock laptop, ipad, and 2 ipods. Just need an iphone. He definitley had some ingenious ideas. Hopefully they can keep that going. RIP buddy.
national muffler used to. I'm not sure if they still do though.
Ouch. Yeah you definitely want to check clearances when assembling an engine.
I will be looking to have the bumper and hood painted sometime this winter. I will hit you up 99civic.
Oh that, I think it's cause the downpipe kind of sucks. It didn't fit very well.
Thanks TomTom.
The exhaust is (in many people's opinion) one of the best made for these cars. It's the Thermal R&D catback system. The tip is pretty massive, but it is a true 3" system and sounds great.
She will be when I get a hood on and bumper painted.
But I think it is the only rust free DSM around here.
Here she is. Hopefully she runs well after that full rebuild she just got. I didn't cut any corners and took my time and did it right. I will try to get a build thread posted tonight when I have access to all of my pics of my progress over the last 15 months.
Hello Fargostreet, I am new to the forum. My name is Corey, and I have a 1997 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. It is in really good shape. She has 55k on the clock. It's almost stock, only mods are full exhaust system and, 14b turbo, hard piping from the turbo to the throttle body, and a full suspension setup including GC springs, tokico struts, sway bars and strut tower bars. None of you have seen it because I bought her in July 2010 with no engine, brakes, and missing a bunch of small things here and there. I started her for the first time last week. She runs very well, but a new wheel bearing I installed last spring went bad after only 48 miles. So I doubt anyone will have a chance to see her until next spring, as I don't drive it in the winter. And by then I will have a hood for it and the front bumper will be painted.
Ayways, nice to meet you all, looking forward to getting to know some of you and meeting some fellow auto enthusiasts in the area.
