Hey all, the event we've been talking about all year, the Regional Top 5 car club drag racing challenge has been canceled for July, but not thrown out. We have decided that due to lack of interest, and some issues at the Sabin track that we will not host a big event like we were planning. We have set up a new website and forum, www.regionaltop5.com that is currently under construction. You will be able to upload all of the information for your club there and we will keep an online ranking system for everyone until the time comes that we can do a big group event with everyone. Here's what to do: Get the 1/4 mile times from a drag strip of the 5 fastest cars in your club. Log onto www.regionaltop5.com/forum/ and post up the times and info about your club. See where you rank with the region's car clubs. See the forum and website for rules, and keep checking back because the site is in development stages right now. Any suggestions and input are welcome.

Does anyone out there have one they want to sell? The last 2 kits I've tried to buy have fallen through. I have the money to spend on it now. Prefer a new style kit that uses an air compressor to force fill.

28 vehicles were entered into this weekend's competition from tire-smoking muscle cars, modified pickup trucks, a turbo Honda, air-bagged Tahoe, restored hot rods, an EVO, and lots more. The event was a car show, exhaust competition, burnout competition, SPL competition and BBQ. We are guessing that we had around 120 people come through to watch the event, and at one point in time the highway adjacent to the burnout contest was completely covered in smoke and you could not see across the road.
