It was supposed to be done in two weeks, Manifold, inter cooler tubing and down pipe. Its now been 4 weeks, and all i have is 25% of a down pipe.
You and me also agreed that you would do charge piping. We ALSO agreed that you would finish the dp sense you didn't pay for the bends or the weld i put on the v-band. but please do not mention that.
Also you never paid for charge piping, So why would i build it?
Listen I"m not going to defend myself over every little thing to you Max. You paid $250 for a divided T3 rb25 manifold. As part of a mock up deal i made with you.
I'm sorry that it is taking longer then i had said, but please do not act like your not getting more then you paid for.
Mother fucker you listen to me.
I did not offer you $250 for your services. I asked you how much you want to do the manifold for. YOU said $250. That is YOUR price, and what you were willing to do it for. And you specifically stated it would not take more than two weeks to complete. I did not ask you to do the down pipe and intercooler piping for $250. I told you I would pay you whatever you wanted to do it. I specifically said just get whatever you need to do it and I'll pay you cash when everything is done. I intended to pay you handsomely for your services, IF you were able to meet or exceed my expectations in terms of service and product quality. I was more than ready to hand over $1000 on top of your initial price when everything was done. I don't cheap out on people who deserve a proper sum. If you respect me and show care for my interests, you will be rewarded. You have failed to meet such criteria numerous times.
Why did I tell you that I would finish the intercooler piping and down pipe myself? Did you ever think about why I said that? Perhaps it had something to do with you? The fact that it became apparent to me that you would not be able to perform such tasks in any reasonable amount of time. You had my car for over a week and didn't do anything except take my turbo off which takes no more than 1 hr. I do not want to leave my car with incapable hands. You were so scared to fork out any money to get the materials you needed to get the job done. I built cages for customers only charging them at the end. Do you know what the out of pocket cost is for cages? About $500. Big deal, do it get it done and get paid. Why would I pay you for IC piping that wouldn't get done? God knows how long my car would be there for if I had you do the IC and finish the down pipe seeing that I don't even have the manifold yet after over a month.
I won't go into the details about the things mr. MGD said to me in our phone conversations, for his own sake. But how many of you would feel comfortable leaving your car somewhere out of state, with somebody who has ZERO credibility, and a week after dropping the car off, somebody who didn't make any progress. I had my doubts about Matt as soon as I got into Fargo. I stopped at Straight Line Specialties to pick up my RB25 head flange so Matt could use it for the manifold. Matt used to work for them but couldn't keep the job because of his poor work habits.
Two weeks and 4 days after I dropped of the car, already 4 days past the due date. I went to pick up my car. Also keep in mind that this is the Monday before I started school again so I needed to get the car back. He was nice enough to pick me up from the bus station and bring me to the shop. I get there, and he only has 4 runners just mocked up. He still had the remaining two to mock. "Is it cool if you hang around for an hour or so while I finish mocking up the last two runners" he says. Of course I don't have much of a choice so I wait. And wait. Almost 4hrs later the last two runners were mocked up. At that time I specifically told him to place the wastegate now so he knew where to put it. He responds: "Its ok, i don't need to. I will be able to figure out where it needs to go since I kinda have an idea where things are now." - If you say so... the guy calls me a week later asking where to put the waste gate.
Here we are 4hrs after I got there. Now Im left with the task of putting all of my original stuff back on since it was all taken off. Original manifold, turbo, lines etc... As stated before, not much more than 1hr of work but I put my own shit back together at his shop. That he took off. So more than 5hrs after I got there, and after I put it back together, I drove it home. I sent him a flange for the waste gate the very next morning so he could get that done.
Two weeks later, now, and still no manifold. Just a lot of lies and broken promises. I was trying to keep cool about it before but now im just pissed. You are being very disrespectful. Do not tell me "I will be down in the cities on tomorrow for a dyno appointment so I can drop off the manifold" and then don't show up. Then you tell me the same thing again, and again. Then don't show up. Who are you to specifically tell me, "you'll have it tomorrow". And not show up. Three fucking times. You play games and make excuses. It is Insulting. You are ridiculous to think your business practices are ok. I would never treat a customer as you have treated me.
I don't care to go through every detail of this whole ordeal as it is now 4 weeks of BS. I shouldn't be wasting my time with this as it is. But I will gladly contest any of your "defenses" with logical reason.
As we have discussed before money is not the issue. I offered to send you a grand a week into the deal just so I could get the car back when I needed it. You didn't want it. So don't complain about the $250 you asked for. I gave you the chance to make money.
I am giving you the opportunity to prove yourself to the D-town community and also many of my own friends and customers. I care for my friends and customers, and would never recommend them to somebody who does not meet my expectations of quality and service.
I strongly suggest you get your act together and complete your end of the deal, before you have much a bigger problem on your hands.
This guy is a joke. He can not give me a straight answer for anything. The manifold is STILL not done, and he refuses to give me a time when it will be done. Apparently he is too busy to finish it. All he keeps saying is he needs a couple days and i need to be patient. The same couple days that turned into weeks, the same shit i've heard before.Matt, the longer you make me wait, the more pissed off I will get. The more motivated I will be to file a lawsuit against you. If you think im crazy you have not seen anything yet.

This guy will never touch my car again. Once the manifold is done I will finish the IC and down pipe myself. I hope none of you make the same mistake I did by bringing your car to him.Random fact about Matt #1: He blew up his boosted S2000 F20 motor.
- Conclusions drawn from fact: Lack of tuning and general engine dynamics knowledge/practices.
Random fact about Matt #2: Because I offered him suggestions about how he should run his business and treat his customers, he asked me why I don't have my own.
- Conclusions drawn from fact: He is ignorant in the assumption that I have don't have one. I obviously don't know what I'm talking about.
Stay tuned for more random facts about Matt!
Had to post this. WOW!
