I'm thinking about doing a vtec head swap on my car found a few write ups. But I want to know what you guys think is it worth doing the head swap or is it better to just put a whole new motor in? Remmber I don't know that much about moding honda cars. I really don't know shit about them. Just learning as I go. So any help is awesome. Maybe when it comes time to doing it if anyone wants to help that would be great. Ill get some beer for us.

What motor would be the best to but in the 89 with the least amaount of work? Or is it an easy thing to but a B in. Also would I have to change the tranny or would the stock one work?

Talked to my buddy matt tonight he said to put a D16yz in. He said not to go above that with like a B or anything said I would twist the shit out of the car if I did more then that. Don't really know if that's true or not.

lmfao that is kinda true. i saw a blue one in town thats stock. i think im gunna swap a b16 or b15 into it. im not to sure yet. this would also be the first swap i ever do. right now im just gunna fix the head gasket so it does not smoke anymore. then im throwing a cat back on to it. but as any project it takes especially when you have next to nothing to spend on it. if anyone has some cheap used parts just let me know by pm.

is an 87 accord with a small amout of rust on the rear wheel wells any good. it needs a new tranny but after all will be getting it for about 250 bucks. and what would a good swap be for it?

i dont kno how to do that stuff. wish i did. how much would it be for me to go and get one made. i want one that looks like the evo II hood.
