Just a reminder. The devils lake ice race/autocross is tomorrow morning starting at around 10 a.m. Drivers must be registered before 930. It is only $35 per driver unless you are an scca member. This is not a spectator sport and if you are not racing you will be working with some aspect of the course. Anyone is welcome to race. Directions to the race site can be found on the left side of the sccabadlands.org website. Hope to see some of you all out there!!!

Before each scca race your car must be inspected unless already inspected that year and racing class has not changed, by a tech inspector to check and see that your vehicle is suitable to race (I.e making sure battery is held down securely or that your floormats are out so they don't get in the way). I asked my boss what the rule was with studded tires was and they are allowed and do make a difference though not required.

As long as your car passes tech, valid drivers license
and insurance you can enter.

Just a heads up. My boss whom is going to be a steward at the race, has informed me that there will be a ice race/autocross held on February 18 2012 on Devils Lake. There should be more information coming to the sccabadlands.org website about it. There is also a little information at scca.org as well. I will try to also get more info from him as it becomes available.

Harm on here used to know a guy from a BMW forum or somewhere that payed 50 bucks for them. Could ask him about it._

the races in west fargo are all tentative but todd (my boss at curts lock and key) says they are very likely to go on, they may be resurfacing the parking lot which is why they are tentative. he has also talked with some people at the urban plains center about getting a "rallycross" event to be held in the dirt, only thing holding him back is going to be the dates in which it happens

Hello. My name is mike, i am a locksmith at curts lock and key. i live here in fargo and have since 2005. I moved from Bemidji, MN where i was born and raised. i currently own a 1998 honda prelude...you know about em, not much done....cai, catback exhaust....currently on jackstands. i also own a 1987 honda crx which has been devac'd, header, and custom exhaust...but its the girlfriends ride. my last vehicle is a 1989 mazda b2200 with a static drop of just a couple inches below stock ride height. Love to hear about other peoples cars and what theyeve done to them. been a user of fargo street for a long time. just never joined.
