    more then likely who i sell it will not take care of it and will have it blown up in 3 months anyways. no matter the condition of the car. and i think ive decided to keep it for my self. im kinda starting to like it. if it blows in 6 months or a year of however long it lasts, ill put in a new motor, but i jjust want to get it going cheaply right now. and putting 2 new pistons is the cheapest way to go.

    no this guy didnt run 91. i thing he ran cheap 87 or what ever was the cheapest. and yea, from all the reading i can find, is if you dont do headers your an idiot and it will blow. well, this guy didnt header and it had nasty problems. and stock pulley is 3.8, and theres some small pulleys as far down as 2.8 tht i know of. but you almost have to be intercooled and camed for that i think.

    oh, and im also getting 1.9 rockers i think. in a few months anyways.

    yea, its a 3.4 pulley, and it deffinatley did the damage for sure. he had no exhaust mods besides a u bend delete. its getting headers when the heads go back on this weekend if they show up on time.

    guys, i have no idea where to post this. i've pm a couple guys with no responses.

    i have just picked up a98 pontiac gtp. installed walboro fuel pump, intake, pulley, going to cet headers in a while. this weekend i am puting a couple pistons in it. i bought it not running. wa told it was just the pump, but the idiot i got the car from did a pulley swap and that was it. so, i am correcting the problem with an exhaust and a tune. i can do all the mechanical work, but i cannot tune a car, i have no knowledge, sortware to do this . im a fulltime mechanic, and have a lot of other stuff to do right now besides screw around with TRYING to teach myself to tune a car.

    so, who can tune these gm cars? cheaper the better. i live in devils lake, so also the closer the better.

    well have just been driving this car lately, but this weekend i decided to tear out the seats and take out the sound deadening, and remove the spare tire well. any ways, everytime i look, i find more rust. but i am going to start patching in a few minutes 🙂 heses some more of the rust, and the tunk patch aswell. its going very slow building this car, as i dont have a job atm.

    wouldnt you rather have more power than mpg? i think you should get a 38/38 instead. i have one and i looved it! but now i got a car with too little of a motor for it.. 😞 good luck finding a dealer

    just got the car driving again! started at about 3pm today, pulled the motor, replaced clutch, and was driving it about an hour ago 🙂

    ya im kinda a nissan/datsun fan 🙂 i did wuite a bit of work on this 85 nissan 720, got the rear sump pan hacked to gether and a rear pickup tube hacked together, was a shitty job, also squeezed the motor in on stock mounts.... all that was just temporary to make sure the motor was a good runner then i was guna build a good pan and pickup tube with new tranny and motor mounts but i sold it before i got it running... 😞 sold it for way less than i had into it 😞 also had the frame notched with an 8 inch notch, i cut the leafs in half to make a 2 link, was guna put in a panhard bar, to make sure i get the 4 link i was guna get the perfect size. but never got that far. the wiring was a pain in the ass, had all wiring almost done, then a friend came over and fucked with some of it, then the lights and wipers didnt work but i never got to fixin that either... so im poretty sure the guy who bought it said fuck it and is sitting in a junkyard. i never met the buyer, a friend bought iut from me, but couldnt come up with the money, so he sold it and paid me.... i guess the owner of this lives in fargo?? are you on here man?

    also just had this 521 but then traded it for this car.

    previous vehicles have been a 79 chevy luv! and a 89 dogre ram 50, and a 84 vw rabbit turbo diesel still have that just need a turbo... wink wink 🙂

    well i started stripping the paint off tonight, iv got no rocker panel on the rear quarter drivers side, and i honestly think ive grinded off about a gallon of bondo. im just using a grinder with a flap disc for now, then i will prime. then eventually do all the body work. want to swap to an l20b with a cam and twin 48 mm webers, ka24-e pistons, and a ported and polished head. not guna be real fast, but enough to have some fun with 🙂 was also thinking bout doing another ka24de swap..... 🙂
