Yes I did, when I swapped the Battery.. I think it's going to just have to be guess and check on this one, there isn't much I can do to induce any of the symptoms, they are all just so random, we''ll see how it goes

Mazdaspeed - Electrical IssuesHey All,
So recently I have been having some issues with with my Electrical System, I've known Ive had a bad battery for a few months and I finally got around to replacing it, but I know there is another issue that I should probably address at the same time since it probably has something to do with the dead battery. Over the summer I got caught out driving durring a severe down pour the flooded out the streets completely. Fearing the worst I just stopped and waited for the streets to clear out.
I would assume that night some water got in contact with my electrical unit, and I'm hoping I don't have to replace the ECU at some point. The car has some unusal symptoms that occur sparatically it seems like:
Occasionally when you turn the ignition nothing happens - even when the battery is fully charged - play with the pedals a little bit, release the e-brake, and put it in first gear, the car resets it self - (who the hell knows why) turn the key and the car fires right up
Occasionally the car will litterally "turn off" - everything except for the engine, while I'm out driving, if you do something that requires immediate power: i.e. turn the lights on, or lock the doors, or roll down the windows - it's strange.
Recently which has lead me to replace the battery.. when you start the car, the engine will turn over, some weird ass clicking noise comes from the dash somewhere - like a relay is trying to work - then the battery dies becuase it is still trying to start the car.. usually a set of leads will get the car going.. but this is only necessary if the car isn't started for a while
The engine works fine still, and everything on the car works most of the time.. it just seems it dosn't all synchronize all at once.. which leads me to believe it is the ECM
This will probably turn into an interesting project to get these gremlins beat out.. but just looking for some input, i probably have a nice journey ahead of me to take care of this one.
Thanks

never had much of a problem in fargo, there's just a cpl spots that i avoid where i drive on a regular basis (7th ave between 45th and interstate, and 10th st between 12 ave and 15th ave)... Moorhead on the other hand i avoid completely... main avenue is so fucked i just never go there...You hit the nail on the head for me in Fargo....I live off 12th Ave and 10th St....and Work on 7th Ave...7th, University, 11th and all the shitty neightborhood roads that come with the territory are the main streets I use....drives me fricken nuts, these streets are going to shake my car apart

I don't think the roads in Fargo are for "spirited driving" in the first place.Ha whats the point of having a fun street car, if driving it around everyday turns into a chore?

Fargo's StreetsThe God damn streets here can suck a fat one... I hate driving around in this town spirited driving is impossible, the entire town is a giant pot hole with a red light attached to it...

Pulling to the right? So i figured it out..I laughed at myself after nailed this one, my car had been going in and out of a number of shops over about three days and durring each visit they would refill my tires with air (I had something on my dash fixed and they check the air)..so every time I checked the the pressure when it pulled and it all looked fine looked fine. After i had all the work done..two days later, flat...diagnosis TPMS sensor was leaking. Done.

Pulling to the right?Im not sure why these wheels are giving me such a hard time...I've had the aftermarket wheels on the car before...drove straight...put back on the stock wheels... drove straight, sandblasted, powdercoated, mounted, and balanced the aftermarket wheels, pulls hard to the right, have checked air pressure probably like five times and all seems normal, I cant imagine that I need to get the new wheels aligned, but its irratating for sure. Any Thoughts?

Slammed 95-96 Blue TahoeReal clean lookin blue Chevy Tahoe, Looked like a 6 inch drop, 2wd, big chrome wheels, roll pans and maybe even a painted from bumper? I wonder becuase I had a similar 95 GMC Suburban with a 6 in Drop and 22's roll pans and a painted bumper

It wasnt a huge fire from what i heard. Unless a second fire broke out? I know something happened earlier today. But was told it wasnt anything major. Oh and I kinda take back what I said, Neil is a good guy, his powdercoater sucks. But If you go to them just look it over real good and if you find any flaws Neil will make sure it gets fixed.I was in Neals last week, they didn't say anything about a fire, the word from the folks was a water main broke in the building

There isn't that many different sensors so I think the ones you have will work with your car however if you never had them programmed that's what the error is. It requires a special tool but pretty much any tire shop should be able to make short work of that. Thanks, I was thinking this as well, I cant imagine that these things run on too many separate frequencies, when I get the tires remounted I'll ask around about them. They came with the wheel and tire set I bought used and since my car utilizes the function, There really isn't any disadvantage to put a little effort into getting the little things to work properly.

TPMS sensorsI bought some wheels that came with these TPMS sensors they worked for about a month but then the error light started flashing, anyone ever deal with these things before, they are specifically for a Nissan Altima, has anyone ever heard anything about resetting these? Or should i just let em go on ebay?

He is where I bring everything I can't fit in the blaster in my shop. Depending on what you are wanting blasted.I can see wheels taking 4-5 hours. Many variables to think about(size, how many spokes/design, what they are coated in, what type of media is used in the blaster). It took us well over an hour to blast my BBS and I has stripped as much of the coating off as possible.
I guess this is true, I might have just been a little upset becuase it took them about a week to even come around to the thought of maybe starting them...but i guess for sandblasting they did a pretty good job.
