** We have gotten permission to use the ****grassy **area on the north side of Roosevelt Park ball diamonds and on the west side of the shop to be used for self contained motor home and camper parking. It will be a first come basis but if you park properly there should be room for quite a few units. It is the area between Hebron Brick and the park shop, there is a large tower on the property.

** I had a Rockabilly Band hired for Saturday but they were having trouble with customs and had to back out so I am working on a replacement. We have also booked the same group from Branson again for Sunday AM. They will be entertaining from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. I know it is early but they were excellent and we only have so much time on Sunday. The National Guard is scheduled to do a tribute to our military at 10:00 AM and that will be followed by another band and then awards should be done by 3:00 on Sunday.**

** Motel rooms are filled in Devils Lake although I expect some cancellations. Lakota does have rooms at both the Sunlac Inn 701-247-2487 and the Lakota Lodge 701-247-2246. They are both on nice 4 lane 27 miles east of Devils Lake.**

i have a neighbor that when i first moved in let his dog crap all over without picking it up...

it took 3 times of talking to him but he now keeps his dog off my lawn so it's not full of dog shit he doesn't pick up... i clean up after my dog and it's also trained to go in her potty area (sand to be easly cleaned off)...

it might take a few times but each time just get a little more strongly worded until they get the idea...

he's been a good neighbor ever since!!!

it's really stupid to dog an event like this if you want to keep money out of the town you live in go live in a little town like devils lake, that or one of almost any other small town....

I don't have any pictures of it and I'm betting the "import" one is just an offshut of the ( I Think they are a club) import club in DL trying to get something going again.... if i remember correctly it was just the guys from DL sitting in taco johns parking lot (across from the park where everyone else was)

the only thing you might miss is the parade... and it's set up that if you get to the auto-x soon enough to get checked out and pass inspection you can go do the parade or watch it then make it back for the start of the runs....

the fun events are friday evening (starts 5PM) and the show and shine is sunday...

friday burn outs, flame throwing, balance beam, rap offs
