Anyone know of one someone is looking to get rid of?
Needs to be a heavy duty 20T unit. None of the Torrin (Northern Tool) or Harbor Freight units.

Arcan 20T from Northern would be acceptable.

    Bump. Still need one.

    http://fargo.craigslist.org/pts/3236170475.html

These came off Olander's black car - IIRC he bought them to put ET streets on to have a DOT tire for Power to the Wheels a few years ago. I ran them a couple years and trashed the ET streets last fall. Didn't drag race this year and probably won't next year so I'm letting these go.

I'm on here more than I should be so contact me here or through CL

Still have these, get them out of my garage before I have to put them in the rafters again.

We're looking for some PT help at the Fargodome for the conversions staff.

    What do we do?
Almost everything that doesn't include taking your ticket or serving you beer. In addition to the Fargodome as most know it (the main arena), the building also has 8 meeting rooms which need to be set up and torn down regularly. We handle setting up and tearing down everything from church services to trade shows to concerts to wedding dances throughout different parts of the building. Generally we do a lot of room configuration which is moving a lot of chairs and tables but we're also getting into theater season which includes a 44'x80' stage, temporary tiered seating and curtains to convert the bowl into our 3500~ seat theater setting. We usually work in crews of 6-20 depending how large our conversions are and how many people are available to work. There are also up to 6 supervisors that work -with- the crew (myself included).

Our shifts are typically 6pm-(whenever we're done, usually 9-11pm) weekdays and variable on the weekends. In addition to those we have full days for shows. You can work as little or as much as you want - your shifts are up to you. A couple of us regular employees have put in 400-450 hours this year so far.

Starting hourly rate is somewhere in the $8-8.50 range for general conversion staff. If you put in the work and show you're competent there are increased rates for things like Fork lift operator, spotlight operators, and riggers. Usually we like people to work regularly for a few months before they are considered for these positions however. An additional perk/privileged is you usually get to watch shows for free - usually from the press box.

This is typically a college student type job but we do have a number of guys and gals that use this as a source for a little extra income. It also doubles as an exercise program for a couple people - it's a big building and we get to travel a lot of it.

** We're looking for help IMMEDIATELY (for Friday/Saturday particularly) so if you are interested please fill out an application and drop it off at the Fargodome offices (upstairs from the lobby) during regular business hours or get it to me.

If you have any questions let me know and I'll try to answer them.

I'll give you a quick breakdown of our schedule for the next month.
Wednesday, September 26th @ 6pm (Meeting rooms and prep for the Carrie Underwood Concert)
Thursday, September 27th @ 6pm (Set arena for Carrie Underwood
Friday, September 28th @ 10am (Carrie Underwood crew shows up and starts work)
Saturday, September 29th @ 8am (Carrie Underwood concert - this will probably go until 1 or 2am)
Sunday, September 30th @ 2pm (Set arena back to astroturf)
    Tuesday, October 2nd @ 6pm (Meeting rooms)
    Thursday, October 4th @ 6pm (Meeting rooms)
Saturday, October 6th @ 4pm (Meeting rooms and some prep for the Timberwolves game)
Monday, October 8th @ 6pm (Meeting rooms and more prep)
Tuesday, October 9th @ 6pm (Probably set the basketball floor and close the arena down to a small set)
Wednesday, October 10th @ 9pm (Long night for meeting rooms and a switch from the basketball floor to football)
Saturday, October 13th @ 5pm (Meeting rooms and convert from turf to theater set)
Sunday, October 14th @ ? (Toby Mac concert)
Tuesday, October 16th @ 6pm (Theater back to turf)
Monday, October 22nd @ 6pm (convention in lobby and concourse)
    Thursday, October 25th @ 6pm (Meeting rooms)

Application http://fargodome.com/inside_employment.php We usually hire monthly if needed so if you're interested later fill out an application

Hey guys, looking to replace my tired stock VF40 in the near future. When I went stage 2 I checked the turbo - I didn't have any radial play, but I had almost 1/8th of axial play in the shaft (via my calibrated feel-o-meter). I've heard this isn't too abnormal, but I'd really rather avoid having the thing fail on the car and contaminate all the oil/lines/cooler/etc. Car has just about 80k on it now and it's fairly common for them to be on the way out at this point.

I'm not really interested in another VF40, for reliability reasons, and why not upgrade right?

    For reference, my current setup:
2005 Legacy GT Wagon, 5MT Tranny
Stock clutch, replaced when I bought it less than 5k ago
    Stock intake, inlet, TB hose
    Invidia UP
    CNT Catted DP
    Stock Cat-back

This my daily driver, so I want to stay reasonable. Here's the leading scenario right now:

    BNR EVO III 16g Hybrid
    AVO TMIC
    Grimmspeed EBCS
    Modded Stock Inejctors (~800+cc/min)
    Deatschwerks DW65c Fuel Pump
Custom Tune on AP - 91 and E85 Maps - (Nuke or Shamar)

    Expecting 280-310awhp on gas, 300-330 on E85.

    Thoughts? Missing anything? TIA!

Update: Figured out the name of the tuner I had heard - it was Shane@DB Performance. Went to RS anyway due to their specialty in tuning subies. Since the last post I've done a couple things. Swapped the CNT downpipe for a Cobb - higher quality and the cat is in the midpipe section instead of under the TMIC. Added a PTP turbo blanket too. Had some issues with the tune on the dyno, but finally got it figured out over email today. Really happy. Nice and smooth and making tons more power than my re-scaled gas tune. I just wish I had a dyno number to back it up. FWIW (not much) the Cobb AP dyno says 329 awhp & 347 ft-lbs. Seems a bit high to me but nevertheless E85 is the shit.

I have a 1984 nissan 300zx turbo, and I am trying to put an aftermarket boost gage in the place of the stock one in the dash. I have the gage cluster modified and i got it to fit but now I need to get the new cluster to fit in the dash. There is a heater duct right behind it and if I take it out the new cluster fits right in. I need help on how to get the darn duct out it is stuck and I don't know if I am missing something.

Saw this out today, looked clean but holy lag city and not much after that. And if I could have captured all the oil smoke on decel I could bottle it. Looked like a poor setup IMHO,

Wait, a Mustang that expelled oil through the tailpipe rather than out all of the gaskets?
  • bigdogdjB

I have read on a lot of Ranger forums its damn near pointless to get a aftermarket intake because there is little or no difference? Opinions? My friend doesn't think this flex intake pipe will last long. Opinions? http://www.ebay.com/itm/230815554574?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_4509wt_1165

I just dont understand the idiots who are stayin in town on a category 5 hurricane(165+ MPH winds) and gettin drunk at bars in downtown New Orleans.

Guess it also doesn't help when new orleans is below sea level to. Coffins from their cemetarys are gonna be floatin down the streets cause their not that far below ground.

Tornado warnings for Fargo Moorhead aint got shit on this bitch!!!
